Founder’s Background

Anurag Salian — Founder

Anurag Salian, a mechanical engineer with first-hand academic and industry experience in Germany, founded Uniberater Consulting.

Anurag completed his Master’s degree at RWTH Aachen University and has been working in Munich as a Senior Mechanical Engineer in robotics for the past 8 years. His professional journey spans established legacy companies like TATA and fast-growing robotics startups, providing a balanced perspective on both academia and industry.

Having benefited from strong mentorship throughout his own journey, Anurag sees this consultancy as a way to give back by helping the next generation of engineers navigate the same path with clarity and confidence.

Founder’s Background

Rachana Jain — Founder

 Rachana Jain is a graduate of Civil Engineering from Visvesvaraya Technological University, Karnataka. Guided by her deep interest in human development and learning, she now facilitates Outdoor Experiential Learning programs at TrueNature Learning and Development. She is an Associate Member of the Indian Society for Applied Behavioural Science, holds a certification in Emotional Intelligence, is pursuing a Diploma in Transactional Analysis, and is certified in First Aid by NOLS.


With over seven years of experience as a Site Engineer at Jain Heights, Rachana has successfully managed vendors and clients, bringing strong operational and logistical expertise to her current role. An avid traveller, trekker, and wildlife enthusiast, she has organised and led day treks and overnight camps across diverse Indian landscapes. Her passion for the outdoors is rooted in her sporting background, having pursued basketball at championship levels and represented teams at the national level in hockey during her school and university years.


Today, Rachana balances multiple roles as a mother, outdoor explorer, behavioural facilitator, and logistics expert. She remains deeply committed to learning and growth, continually investing her energy and experience into strengthening the vision and impact of TrueNature.

Our guidance is rooted in real experience and practical insight into the German education system. We believe in being honest and transparent with students, setting clear expectations, and offering personalised support that reflects each individual’s background and aspirations. 


We don’t believe everyone needs help with everything. Instead, we support students exactly where they are in their journey, whether it’s:

  • Shortlisting the right universities
  • Structuring a strong Statement of Purpose
  • Preparing for university interviews
  • Understanding academic and system expectations.

 

We believe that applying for a master’s program is not a single action, but a structured project that unfolds over time. Success depends on understanding the process early, planning each step carefully, and aligning preparation with clear deadlines.


From shortlisting the right programs to building a strong academic narrative, timing, documentation, and informed decisions play a decisive role. Test scores, transcripts, recommendations, and statements are not independent tasks; they are interconnected parts of a larger plan that must come together coherently.


Our approach is grounded in preparation rather than urgency, clarity rather than assumptions, and strategy rather than guesswork. By treating the application journey as a project with defined phases and realistic timelines, we help students move forward with confidence and purpose, knowing exactly where they stand and what comes next.

To maintain quality and ensure personal attention, we work with a limited number of students per semester. This allows us to engage deeply and provide focused, one-on-one support.
